Coding our future” is an initiative started in 2016 by Mathisis.org, Cyprus Computer Society, Ideodromio/Science Cafe, Frederick University Robotics Academy and CyRIC. The aim of the project was to offer year-long free-for-all workshops for students (Primary to Secondary Schools) in robotics and programming.

By 2018 we had reached more than 6000 students annually, and in 2018 – 2019 we introduced workshops in Computer History and Computer Making, in collaboration with Retro Computing and Gaming. By the end of June 2019, more than 10 000 students, teachers and parents have participated in our workshops, including afternoon trainings for teachers and activities for parental involvement.

The initiative is funded and supported by Research Promotion Foundation, CCS, Frederick Robotics Academy, Google (Week of Code), Retro Computing & Gaming, CyRIC, Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Youth Board of Cyprus.
